Property Developer Criticizes Application of Building Approval

Rules on Building Approval (PBG) actually hamper the property sector if it is not resolved immediately.

The regional regulations (perda) have not yet been made by the regional government together with the DPRD. “Even if a regional regulation is made, of course it will take a long time, at least six months to be discussed and socialized. On the other hand, the budget for making local regulations must also be prepared," Junaidi said. According to the Deputy Chairperson of the DPP Real Estate Indonesia (REI), Danni Wahid, there are still many obstacles for property to rise. One of them is the Building Approval (PBG) rule.
