College Graduates Needed Village

“We hope that the leadership program for students also conveys love for their hometown. Villages need a young generation who can bring about change.
Therefore, we hope that recipients and alumni of philanthropic programs for students, such as the TELADAN program from the Tanoto Foundation, will not only prepare young people who are ready to compete in the city, but also want to go to the village to realize sustainable village development to achieve the SDGs (Development Goals). This was revealed at the inauguration of the 2022 Exemplary scholarship recipients and the announcement of the winners of the Tanoto Student Research Award (TSRA) held by the Tanoto Foundation in Jakarta, Tuesday (25/1/2022). Accelerating village development requires collaboration with many parties, including universities. Moreover, with the existence of village funds, village officials and communities need leadership capacity support so that their use is useful in developing human resources and the village economy. The TELADAN Scholarship is a leadership program that provides participants with opportunities to develop tiered and structured leadership, opportunities for self-development to the global level, community service, to get the means to collaborate and network, in addition to scholarship support. Selected students will undergo the TELADAN program for three and a half years until graduating in the eighth semester
